RETIREMENT CHOICE MAKING THE RIGHT RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES THAT FEEL LIKE HOME

RETIREMENT CHOICE MAKING THE RIGHT RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES THAT FEEL LIKE HOME

OVER 70 YEARS EXPERIENCE

Founded in 1953 in Cape Town CPOA (Cape Peninsula Organisation for the Aged) has over the years grown from strength to strength. Today the company owns more than 25 retirement facilities which cover the entire spectrum of services from independent living to full frail care in dedicated Care Centres. Units are generally sold on a Life Right basis, which safeguards the initial capital outlay without additional transfer costs and provides for long term peace of mind and security.

CPOA is a non-profit organisation and has a strong Welfare Commitment. The company is overseen by the Board of Governors (BoG) and their elected Council of Volunteers. The Governors are the official voting members and the Councillors oversee the operations on a regular basis. The portfolio management team is responsible for the day to day management of CPOA.

70 years has seen many changes in the dynamic retirement market. Retirees today, ‘Baby Boomers’, are looking for different retirement solutions than their parents. Life spans continue to increase and so too does the need to provide care for sufferers of Alzheimer’s and dementia. CPOA addresses these changes with new Urban Retirement solutions and dedicated Memory Care Centres.

Financially secure and with a strong corporate governance structure CPOA is at the centre of developments in the retirement sector and is widely regarded as: “The Retirement Specialist”.
